Originally from Mexico, the dahlia is a tuberous plant that produces vivid 2.5″ (6cm) flowers.

This plant that produces one flower on each stem can be used to grow cut flowers. The mix consists of a blend of orange, red, violet, white and yellow shades. Dahlia prefers moist soil, but not soggy.
You can dig up the tubers in the fall and store them in a cool dry environment over winter.
